Cruise and Climb El Penol Rock and Guatape

Private VIP tour at your pace in luxury 4WD, 5 pax max, includes a cruise on the Laguna in private launch, with breakfast and lunch.

Departure at 7.00am, pass the town of Guarne, breakfast at Marinilla. Proceed through the town of El Peñol and journey to the Rock of El Peñol. Capture fantastic photographic memories at the base or optionally climb the 740 stairs to the top for breath-taking views.

Continue to Colombia’s most colourful town “Guatape” – famous for its zocalos (fresco paintings) on each property, which capture the different cultures of the town. Our guide will explain the culture and history, and then for lunch. Spend free time to walk around to purchase souvenirs and take photos.

Off to the marina where we board a “planchon” – a flat-topped trimaran (or a high speed launch) with lounge style seating and music, cruising around the laguna for unique views and to see houses of the rich and famous.

For those more adventurous, a swim in the warm waters of the lagoon.

Rio Claro Natural Reserve

This VIP tour takes you over the Central Andes Ranges from Medellin for about 150km to Rio Claro Valley, noted for its natural beauty. On the way you will see breathtaking views just after sunrise. After breakfast, we enter the park and you will have a choice of either a rafting tour or caves tour included in the cost. Lunch is also included. In your spare time, enjoy an eco walk and swim in the crystal clear waters of Rio Claro – feel the nature and pristine beauty of this famous icon of Colombia.

Santa Fe de Antioquia

Step back in time, visiting the historic centre of Santa Fe de Antioquia, founded in 1541 by Jorge Robledo. Walk through cobblestoned streets admiring the neo-classical and baroque architecture, visit hotel Mariscal Robledo, the main square, Metropolitan Cathedral, see various monuments dedicated to those who made history in Colombia, Santa Barbara Church, and the museum of the Dictator Juan del Corral. Walk leisurely over the Western Suspension Bridge, where the history and this remarkable engineering feat will be explained to you. A memorable lunch at a colonial restaurant.

Hacienda Napoles

This is a private VIP tour with a knowledgable tour guide for up to five passengers in a high class 4WD vehicle. We collect from select hotels by arrangement. Breakfast and lunch are included.

Hacienda Nápoles was one of the late Pablo Escobar’s properties spanning 3,000 hectares and is currently a cultural, fauna and flora theme park located in the Colombian city of Doradal, Antioquia. It is located in the valley of the River Magdalena, 170 km from Medellin and is famous as a symbol of the Medellin drug cartel. We do a Safari around the park, viewing the wild animals that Escobar imported into Colombia including, hippopotami, zebras, lions, leopards, pumas, elephants, crocodiles and ostriches. Admire and swim in the Victoria Falls replica swimming pool, the Giant Octopus swimming pools and for the younger ones a ride into Jurassic Park. Visit the African cultural museum, and the Pablo Escobar Museum to learn about his life and history during the Medellin drug cartel.

Graffiti & City Tour

Our tour guide will walk you through Precinct 13, explaining the history and the culture behind the transformation of this once notorious and dangerous area. Enjoy local culture and dancing by kids in the street, taste the famous “mango-biche” ice treat, ride a cable car to see the real Precinct 13 with the current hardships, followed by a metro ride to Parque Berrio for a typical “bandeja paisa” lunch and to view the famous fat, bronze Botero sculptures.
