This was a VIP tour to Santa Elena, the birthplace of the culture and heritage of the festival of flowers – we visited a flower farm, received a complete explanation of the history, a nice lunch (typical Antioquean, Colombia) and a visit into the quaint little town of Santa Elena. Everyone was “super festive” and just as well we were in a private and luxurious 4WD, that we were not hindered by the incredible traffic and narrow roads (which are pretty much unsurpassable for the typical tour buses). Our guide Liliana was very pleasant and experienced, and we enjoyed her courtesy and company – highly recommend Ecotours Colombia as we had other good experiences with them.

Una compañía excelente que aseguraron que estemos felices todo el paseo. Los recomiendo para cualquiera que quiere diversión, comodidad, y un paseo práctico. Mi novia y yo estuvimos de paseo de los Estados Unidos y fuimos para un tour a río claro y fue la experiencia de nuestras vidas. Cuando estemos en Medellín de nuevo vamos a usar esta compañía de nuevo!

Well organised trip. We love the pride everyone takes in their city and country in Colombia, and this was no exception. The first stop, Marinilla, the ‘Sparta of Colombia’ was possibly a little light on historic detail, but the El Peñol part and the tour of Guatapé made more than up for it. Jesús brought a huge energy to the job, and the meal at the base of El Peñol authentic.

I was very impressed with the friendly, professional and insightful service that Eco Tour provided me. Their staff speaks English, which was a super plus point for me in Colombia, as I do not speak much Spanish. The trip was super enjoyable, informative, fun and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Eco Tours to anyone.
